Website privacy notice

This notice covers the public website at kindfieldworks.com. Individual Kindfield Works products publish their own privacy notices, because each product handles different information for different purposes. A product’s notice, not this one, governs that product.

Analytics

When you have accepted analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects technical and usage information such as pages viewed, referring sites, approximate location, browser/device information, and engagement. It uses a pseudonymous browser identifier, which is not the same as anonymous data. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, or the contents of correspondence to Google Analytics.

For visitors outside the EU, Switzerland, and UK, Google processes IP addresses for purposes such as approximate location and operation of its service. Google says it does not associate raw IP addresses with user identifiers and discards them after use. See Google’s information about its IP-address use(opens in a new tab).

We use Analytics reports to understand traffic and improve this website. We do not use this site’s Analytics data for advertising or combine it with your email correspondence. Google Signals, advertising personalization, and remarketing are disabled. Google processes the service under its own terms; see Google’s privacy policy(opens in a new tab) .

Cookies and local storage

When analytics is active, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to recognize a browser across visits and maintain session information. We also store your privacy choice, its date, and the notice version in your browser. If you select a light or dark display preference, that preference is stored on your device. These functional preferences are separate from analytics. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.

The functional storage keys include kfw.analytics-preference for your choice, kfw.analytics-reconfirm when a new choice is needed, the consent manager’s stcm.kfw-analytics.consent.analytics and stcm.kfw-analytics.hasConsented state, and kfw-theme for your display preference. They remain until you change them or clear site data. Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_N0Q5D7K0VF; each is configured for up to two years and is renewed by a return visit, subject to browser limits. We do not use advertising cookies.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Firebase Hosting, operated by Google. Delivering and protecting the website involves processing technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time. This necessary hosting activity occurs whether or not you allow analytics. We do not use hosting request information for advertising.

If you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you include. We use that information to respond and maintain appropriate business records. Contacting the company does not by itself subscribe you to marketing emails. Product waitlists and other product communications are explained in the relevant product’s notice.

Your choices

You can review or change analytics through Privacy choices on this page. We ask before enabling analytics, and nothing is sent to Google Analytics until you accept. We keep analytics off when Global Privacy Control is detected or you have saved a rejection. Turning analytics off does not prevent you from using the site. It stops future analytics collection through this site but does not automatically delete information already sent to Google.

We store a rejection in this browser until you change it, this notice changes, or the stored preference is removed, for example by clearing site data. We remember acceptance for up to 180 days unless a material change requires a new choice. Clearing site data also removes saved display preferences. A new browser or device has its own choices.

This site does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals, which have no common standard. Analytics requires your acceptance regardless, and we honor Global Privacy Control as described above.

Google Analytics retention depends on settings in the Analytics property; standard aggregate reports may remain available longer than event-level data. We generally cannot associate an Analytics browser identifier with a named person, but you may contact us about an access or deletion request so we can assess what information we can reasonably locate.

Requests

You can contact us with questions or requests about your information, including a request to delete correspondence. We will assess and respond to your request, subject to applicable law and legitimate security, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping needs. Some information may remain in backups until those copies are replaced or expire.

Links to other sites

This site may link to product websites and to platforms such as the App Store or Google Play. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this notice does not apply to them.

Children

This website is company information for a general audience. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek or use information about children.

Changes

If this notice changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new date. Material changes will be described rather than quietly substituted.

17 September 2026 - Analytics now requires acceptance for all visitors, including in the US; earlier saved choices were reset, so you will be asked again; added Do Not Track statement.

16 September 2026 - Added analytics choices, Global Privacy Control handling, regional safeguards, and clarified Google processing, retention, and request wording.

4 September 2026 - Google Analytics was added to this website. Before that date the site ran no analytics and set no cookies. This section, Analytics, Cookies and local storage, and Your choices were rewritten to describe it.
